My mother-in-law brought over some "vintage" buttons that where her Nana's. I'm so excited to add them to my hats. I only wish I had more sets of hands so I could be working on more than one project at a time! Thanks Carolyne!
I went a little crazy last night at my parents house when I saw a cute button in the bathroom. It turned out my 8-yr-old little sister found it, but wouldn't give it to me! Being the big sister I took it from her anyway. She tried finding it and found a quarter instead. I told her it was a fair trade, though I think I ended up with both the button and the quarter. I feel it's my sisterly duty to pick on her even though I'm old enough to be her mother (almost). She's practically an only child and I don't want her missing out on all the sibling fun.
